The Utah Utes will face off against the No. 20 Colorado Buffaloes this Saturday at Folsom Field in Boulder, with the game set to kick off at noon ET.
Utah (4-5, 1-5 Big 12) is looking to snap a five-game losing streak after a narrow 22-21 defeat to BYU, a game that saw the Utes fall just short despite a strong start. Utah held a 21-13 lead entering the fourth quarter, but BYU mounted a comeback with a touchdown early in the final frame and a game-winning 44-yard field goal as time expired.
Despite the loss, quarterback Brandon Rose showed promise, passing for 112 yards with two touchdowns and one interception, while also contributing 55 rushing yards.
Colorado (7-2, 5-1) enters the game in strong form, having dispatched Texas Tech 41-27 last weekend. The Buffaloes’ offense was firing on all cylinders.
Quarterback Shedeur Sanders threw for 291 yards and three touchdowns, while also adding a rushing score. His favorite target, wide receiver Travis Hunter, had an impressive outing, catching nine passes for 99 yards and a touchdown.
