Jaime King and Austin Sosa Break Up After Privately Marrying
Danielle Bernstein is fashioning a new chapter.
The WeWoreWhat founder shared that she and fiancé Cooper Weisman split six months after announcing their engagement and three months after the couple celebrated with their family and friends at their New York City engagement party.
“I’ve been quiet about my personal life and wasn't ready to speak on it until now,” Danielle wrote on Instagram Stories Jan. 30. “We're stepping away from our relationship with love and respect.”
The 33-year-old noted that there was “no big dramatic reason” for the break up, adding, “Sometimes it's simply not the right forever.”
“I’m not sure what the future holds, but this choice took courage,” she continued. “I would really appreciate privacy and grace for both of us during this time. Thank you for the support.”
Danielle and Cooper—who works as a director of tenant representation in New York—first confirmed their romance in November of 2023 after one month of dating.
Cooper later popped the question to the influencer during a romantic rooftop proposal in June as the couple were surrounded by white flower petals and candles.
“I’ve dreamed of this moment my entire life and it was everything and more in the most perfectly imperfect way!!!!” Danielle wrote on Instagram at the time alongside a video of the proposal. “Last night on the roof of our new home the man of my dreams got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!!!! “

The fashion designer joked that she “fully blacked out” and kept asking if the proposal was actually happening, writing, “My heart is bursting and I still can’t believe it all, from the timing to the ring I’m just in shock and on cloud nine! He did good guys woah!!!!!”
“I’ve never felt more sure of anything,” she continued. “Saying yes was the easiest decision I’ve ever made.”
The two later celebrated with an elaborate engagement party on Oct. 18—which Danielle noted was also their two-year anniversary.
“On cloud nine from the most incredible evening celebrating our love,” she shared while giving fans a peek at the celebrations. “A memorable party that wildly exceeded expectations.”

Jaime King & Austin Sosa
Though the pair hadn’t confirmed their marriage after getting engaged in September 2025, the Bloody Valentine star's husband filed for divorce on Jan. 22, according to documents obtained by multiple outlets. That same day, Jaime revealed that she was "blindsided" by the investor's decision to abruptly end their marriage.
“I was completely blindsided by the divorce filing, which came out of nowhere,” the actress told Page Six in a statement published Jan. 22. “I was with Austin the night before it became public, and while like many marriages we had normal challenges, I genuinely believed we were working on our relationship.”
Jaime—who shares kids James and Leo with ex Kyle Newman—further shut down any suggestion of infidelity as a cause for the breakup, adding, “Any recent interactions being referenced publicly were strictly professional business meetings and have no connection to this private matter.”
