Wendy Williams seems to be learning about her finances by reading her own press coverage.

The former talk show host is so out of the loop about her finances, she didn’t even know how much she was paying for her living arrangement at the Coterie until she read about it in New York magazine this week, a source told Page Six.

Williams is the subject of the mag’s most recent cover story.

The article takes a deep dive into the her current guardianship and campaign to rid herself from a court-appointed guardian, Sabrina Morrissey.

The piece also sheds light on some of her finances — including the alleged $25,000 per month rent she pays for her studio at the “luxury dump,” (as Williams has called it), Coterie.

A source close to Williams told us she believed she was paying $18,000 a month for the pad.

“She believes Sabrina is draining her money. She doesn’t even know how much she’s worth,” the source said.

We’re told the living facility’s hefty rent has left Williams increasingly anxious about her finances as she’s not allowed to earn an income.

Lawsuits and lawyer fees, including Morrissey’s, have further complicated money matters.

“She’s very concerned about it. She was told ’18’ [thousand], and now she’s reading it’s ’25’ They’re draining her money, like why ‘$25k/mo’ for a studio at the Coterie? She’s furious!” the source said.

They added Williams doesn’t even know how much her Uber and taxi fees are when she is able to go out for dinner in New York City.

She allegedly receives an allowance of “$200-$300″ a week that she uses to buy things like Twizzlers and magazines,” according to our source.

Williams is expected to testify next month in a lawsuit Morrissey filed against A&E and Lifetime, alleging the network aired the damaging documentary, “Where Is Wendy Williams?” without her consent.

One lawsuit she no longer has to worry about is the $250 million lawsuit her ex, Kevin Hunter, filed in June, demanding her release from the guardianship.

TMZ reported a judge dismissed suit that Williams has previously said was a money grab.

In the meantime, she continues to find a semblance of her old life by frequenting haunts like Tucci and Delmonico’s.

She dined at the latter earlier this week where patrons greeted her and sent well wishes. “She thrives off of it. Wendy smiles from ear to ear when that happens. She really does love being famous, but this whole situation has certainly humbled her,” the source said.

Morrissey did not get back to us.
