On November 11, 2025, Netflix dropped episodes 7 to 9 of Physical: Asia, continuing the global competition between eight national teams. In these new episodes, Team Philippines became the third team to be eliminated, following Thailand and Indonesia. The intense third quest, the Sack Toss Challenge, decided their fate. CrossFit athlete Justin Hernandez, who stepped in as team captain after Manny Pacquiao’s early exit, faced off against Korea’s Amotti and Australia’s Eddie Williams.

The challenge required competitors to toss a 14-kg sack over a high barrier within a tight time limit. The weight and difficulty kept on increasing after each round. Despite showing incredible strength and endurance, Justin fell short in his final attempt, and that led to the Philippines’ elimination. It was a hard-fought battle, as the team gave their all through every round and remained calm under pressure until the very end.

Fans of Physical: Asia quickly took to social media to applaud Team Philippines for their inspiring run. An X user, @tof_dg, wrote,

"Well done, Team Philippines! You showed true grit and heart. Nothing to be ashamed of!"

Well done, Team Philippines! You showed true grit and heart 💙❤️💛 Nothing to be ashamed of! 🇵🇭 #PhysicalAsia

Many praised the team as well as Justin for stepping up as captain and showing resilience in the face of tough odds. Viewers said that the team displayed true sportsmanship and a “fighting spirit,” even against some of the strongest athletes from other nations.

Nothing to be ashamed of, Team Philippines! The other countries have witnessed the incredible morale and unity of our athletes. They could not believe it! You guys showed the true reflection of a Filipino spirit that never backs down. Heads up! It was an amazing fight! Thank you,

Noooo, my team 😭😭😭😭😭 I shed a tear for that last chant "Laban, Pilipinas!" You guys were amazing. You gave it your all. You made me so proud! Salamat, Team Philippines 😭🇵🇭 It wasn't ours today, but it will be. Tomorrow! #PhysicalAsia

Tbh, I didn’t have any expectations for Team PH — I just said, as long as they’re not the first team to get eliminated. But, they proved how strong they are! I’m so proud of Team Pilipinas — they truly showed the Pinoy capability and our strong fighting spirit 🇵🇭 #PhysicalAsia

Good job Justin!!! Keep your head held high #teampilipinas #physicalasia

Others mentioned that while the team’s journey ended earlier than hoped, their performance exceeded expectations and made many Filipinos proud.

Philippines: out! Not watching anymore. Hahahaha. (Not bitter, just that I don't have any team to cheer for anymore.) #PhysicalAsia

Oh my Team Philippines #PhysicalAsia You gave it your best, I'm so proud

I already anticipated that the Philippines would lose, but they still put up a great fight. All those last-second clutch plays were amazing. It was a strong start and showed that the Philippines is a strong country too. Let’s come back even stronger next season! #PhysicalAsia
