Heading into Week 7, some fantasy football managers may need a spark at the WR position.
Week 6 was anything but kind for injuries, especially to the WR position. Fantasy football managers are now trying to manage their team without some of the best at the position.
Seriously ... look at all these wide receiver who might need replacing in lineups, including those who've been hurt for multiple weeks already:

As you can see, the WR position is crumbling for fantasy football. Some players have been out for too long to have a good overall, but there are six top 30 fantasy wide receivers on this injury list.
This only means that managers are going to have to look elsewhere for production. After all, with these guys going down, plenty of opportunities arise for some lesser-known WRs.

3 WR sleepers for fantasy football Week 7
Kameron Johnson, WR, Buccaneers
With Emeka Egbuke going down with a hamstring injury, the Bucs WR core becomes even thinner. Mike Evans left the game in Week 3 and has not played a snap since, and Chris Godwin seemingly tried to return too soon following his gruesome lower leg injury last season.
With all these players out, Tampa Bay has a ton of available targets. Heading into Week 7, everyone is talking about Sterling Shepard and Tez Johnson, which is fair. However, hardly anyone is mentioning Kameron Johnson.
Not a ton of people might know the second-year WR out of Barton College. Not only did he attend a small school, but he was an undrafted player as well.
However, following Egbuka going down, it was Kameron Johnson who had the best performance in Week 6.
Tampa Bay WR | TGT | REC | YDS | TD | Fantasy Points in Week 6 |
Sterling Shepard | 3 | 2 | 51 | 0 | 7.1 |
Tez Johnson | 3 | 1 | 59 | 1 | 11.5 |
Kameron Johnson | 4 | 4 | 64 | 1 | 16.4 |
Heading into Week 7, Tampa Bay faces the Detroit Lions and their crumpling secondary. The Lions are allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing WRs at 25.6 FPPG.
Expect this game to hit the over in the points department, which means for plenty of opportunities for big fantasy performances. Why couldn't that be Kameron Johnson?
Jayden Higgins, WR, Texans
Leading up to fantasy draft season, Jayden Higgins was becoming a fantasy darling. Then, quickly, managers began to give up on Higgins due to the slow start.
To begin, in Weeks 4 and 5 (just before the Texans' bye in Week 6), Higgins played his two best games of his young career. In Week 4, Higgins played 31 snaps (which was a career high at that point) and hauled in his first touchdown from C.J. Stroud.

Not only have reports come out that the coaching staff wants to get Higgins more involved, but we can also expect the post-bye improvement that we see all the time from rookies.
In Week 7, Higgins will face the Seattle Seahawks in what should be a fairly high-scoring game. The Seahawks allow 20.8 FPPG to the WR position.
Chris Moore, WR, Commanders
The Washington Commanders have not been able to avoid the WR injury bug. Not only has Terry McLaurin been out with a quadriceps injury, but Noah Brown was added to the IR.
While he has been playing, Deebo Samuel has been banged up as well. With all this going on, Chris Moore stood out and took advantage in Week 6.

— JetPack Galileo (@JetPackGalileo) October 14, 2025Moore was able to haul in 3 of his 5 targets from Jayden Daniels, for 46 yards and a touchdown. He finished as the WR21 on the week, and could not face a better secondary in Week 7.
Moore will have the pleasure of taking on the Dallas Cowboys. If you've paid attention at all to the NFL, you know how bad the Dallas defense truly is.
The Cowboys are allowing 30.2 FPPG to the WR position, which is the highest in the entire league.
Not all of the dominant games have been from elite WRs, either. Moore seemingly earned some trust in Week 6 and can take advantage of the worst secondary in the NFL in Week 7.
