There are ample Week 5 opportunities for football fans to capitalize on prediction markets this weekend.

Thursday night featured the Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers squaring off in the Lone Star State. The ensuing Sunday, however, is set to showcase matchups such as the Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Philadelphia Eagles in London, the Chicago Bears traveling north to take on the Green Bay Packers to renew their classic rivalry and a prized NFC West matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks in the Pacific Northwest.

Prediction markets are a great way for NFL and all sports fans to choose "Yes" or "No" answers on a team, player or game outcomes. It completely negates having to decode what sports betting odds are and what each line entails.

ProphetX NFL Week 5 prediction markets

ProphetX has an extensive selection of available markets for Week 5 of this year's NFL campaign. As a reminder for those used to sports betting, ProphetX displays market percentages instead of betting odds. The percentages reflect the collective implied probability of an event. • Game lines (moneyline, spread, game total)
  • Team totals
  • TD props (TD scorers, first/last TD, passing TDs)

Philadelphia has been quite porous this season when it comes to stopping the run. They've allowed the seventh-most total rushing yards to opponents this season, and Tuten is a back that will get north of 15 carries on Sunday. He's gone over 62.5 rushing yards in every game so far this season, and there aren't many reasons pointing to him not hitting that threshold for a fifth-straight week.

Washington has allowed tight ends to get an average of 4.75 receptions per game, which checks out with Likely's projection this week. Outside of a miserable, rainy Week 3 game against Tennessee during a nor'easter storm, New York's TE has gotten five or more receptions in each game in 2026. He's also third in TE targets per week, with 8.75 per game, and trails only Brock Bowers and Trey McBride. With Jayden Daniels back, Washington may actually be able to put up some points on their division rivals, which will force Jameis Winston to air the ball out more.

Cardinals fans and Wilson fantasy owners should be salivating at his matchup against Detroit this weekend. The Lions defense has been one of the worst units, if not THE worst, in the NFL this season. Every game so far has featured a marquee wide receiver or quarterback showing out, and Wilson's rise since late last season is too great to ignore. His receptions went from 11 down to seven from Weeks 3 to 4, but his receiving yards increased to 95 despite fewer catches. He's a great downfield threat Brissett has channeled time and time again, and there have been no signs of that slowing down.

The Los Angeles RB1 is coming off monster games against Philadelphia (147 all-purpose yards, 67 receiving) and Denver (158 all-purpose, 70 receiving). His pass-catching ability is what keeps him as a priority player in Coach McVay's offense, even with many people giving praise to RB2 Blake Corum. The Bills defense gave Rhamondre Stevenson 27 receiving yards last Sunday and Jahmyr Gibbs 61 back in Week 2. Williams has had an electric two-week stretch; time to make that three weeks in a row with a stellar stat line.

Kalshi NFL Week 5 markets

Of course, Kalshi offers their own batch of markets for Week 5 as well. They're outlined here:

  • Passing props (passing TDs, yards, completions, attempts, interceptions)
  • Rushing props (yards, attempts, longest rush, most rushing yards)
  • Receiving props (yards, receptions, longest reception, most receiving yards)

  • TD props (anytime TD, first TD, 2+, 3+)
  • Passing props (passing TDs, yards, completions, interceptions)

OG.com NFL Week 5 value plays

It's a bit puzzling that this market has this much value, but OG.com users should flock to this market before its price goes up. Hurts hasn't gotten anywhere close to 200 yards in the last two weeks against the Rams and Bears. In addition, Philadelphia's two best offensive talents, DeVonta Smith and Saquon Barkley, are both banged up heading into this week. Jacksonville has the second-most passing yards given up per week, but Hurts was never known as a quarterback to air the ball out.

Justin Jefferson is questionable to play this Sunday, and Kevin O'Connell may even use him sparingly if his team's star can suit up. However, Minnesota's offense is not what's been winning the team games; it's been their defense. The Vikings have allowed the fewest PPG to opponents in the league (12.8 PPG), along with the seventh-fewest passing yards (194.8) and rushing yards (94.5) per game. Tyler Shough loves to throw the ball all over the field, but it's not incredibly hard to defend against a team that can only pass well.

  • SEA Seahawks vs. SF 49ers under 46.5 total points (52% at OG.com)

This matchup will be one ruled by each team's defense. Both the Seahawks and 49ers offenses largely revolve around two players on both sides: Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Emanuel Wilson on Seattle and Christian McCaffrey and George Kittle on the 49ers. San Francisco also boasts Deebo Samuel and Mike Evans, so they could have the edge in terms of scoring points, but both defenses are top 5 in terms of fewest opponent PPG this season.
