The Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams have had this matchup circled all season long, and it is finally here. A tight division race has potentially come down to this. The first seed in the NFC and the winner of the NFC West could effectively be decided in this divisional showdown.
There is a chance that other developments in the final two weeks could make the game a moot point later on, but the odds are high that the winner of this contest will be in great shape going into the playoffs. Meanwhile, the loser of the game will be left with a mountainous climb.
Of course, fantasy football managers who have made the climb to the second round of the playoffs know all about the importance of seeding. It is also important to keep a close eye on each matchup to find the potential nugget of points that your opponent overlooked. Here's a look at players you can trust and players you should avoid in the matchup.

The usual suspects are here in the form of Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Puka Nacua, and Kyren Williams. However, two names going under the radar are Blake Corum and Colby Parkinson.
Corum is coming off the best three-game stretch of his career, earning four touchdowns in his last three games. As such, he is worth a start to see if he can keep the momentum going. Colby Parkinson has also seen a recent surge in the form of six touchdowns in his last six games.
Matthew Stafford is worth starting, but in facing the Seattle Seahawks in their building, it might not be the prettiest game from the quarterback. As such, you might have a better option on your bench.
Must Starts
- Puka Nacua
- Kyren Williams
- Blake Corum
- Colby Parkinson

Davante Adams at Los Angeles Rams v San Francisco 49ers - NFL 2025 - Source: GettyDavante Adams has been on a league-leading run in scoring touchdowns all season long. However, the veteran receiver might now be paying the price. Adams is working through a knee/hamstring injury that has given him a doubtful injury designation on the official Rams injury report. As such, don't expect him to make a miraculous comeback in time for the contest. Look elsewhere.
Sam Darnold threw four interceptions in his last battle against the Los Angeles Rams and also came up small against Los Angeles in the playoffs at the end of the 2024-2025 season. Avoid Darnold in this matchup if at all possible.
Since his trade from the New Orleans Saints, Rashid Shaheed's fantasy football value has plummeted like a Hail Mary pass. As such, avoid Shaheed at all costs.
With Adams out, it might be easy to talk yourself into giving tight end Terrance Ferguson a shot, but the tight end has only had one catch since Nov. 9. Skip the rookie and look elsewhere.
Must Sits
- Davante Adams
- Cooper Kupp
- Sam Darnold
- Rashid Shaheed
- Terrance Ferguson
