Rico Dowdle @ATL
Rico Dowdle continues to dazzle fans in his rise to dominance. In his first season away from the Dallas Cowboys, the running back has managed to help the Carolina Panthers claw above .500 and deliver a top-five showing in rushing yards. Celebration drama aside, the back has been a top producer in fantasy football.
While he only logged about ten points against the Atlanta Falcons in their previous matchup, he managed to average about a point per attempt. If he receives 25 carries like he did against the Green Bay Packers on Nov. 2, he could be in for a big game in the shadow of what Jonathan Taylor proved was possible in Week 10.
De'Von Achane vs WSH
De'Von Achane has been the lone bright spot in a dark season in Miami. Even in a lost season, Achane has been able to dominate every week. The opponent seemingly does not matter for Achane, but the faltering Washington Commanders defense seems like a victim heading into the matchup.
Achane is coming off a 40-point matchup in many leagues. With Mike McDaniel fielding questions about job security this season, per the Associated Press via NFL media, McDaniel is going to take any opportunity to run up scores in a safe way he can. Fantasy football managers are likely to benefit as a result.
Saquon Barkley vs DET
Saquon Barkley hasn't exploded quite like in 2024, but he has been reliable, scoring in the teens in most weeks. Expect another similar workmanlike performance with a touchdown and some receiving and rushing yards.
The game is likely to be competitive throughout, which sets the stage for a quality outing for Barkley. Don't expect another 10-7 final score as well, so there might be some extra scoring opportunities for the veteran running back.
