The Miami Dolphins and Washington Commanders are two teams hoping they can finish the season much better than they started it. While it hasn't worked out, the fanbases of both teams see an opportunity to build some momentum. Of course, fantasy football managers only care about what points they can milk out of the contest, and that's what Sportskeeda is here to help do.
Here's a fantasy football breakdown of the battle between Miami and Washington ahead of the upcoming Week 11 tilt.

Both defenses have struggled this season, opening the door for a potential shootout to take place. As such, many of the top players are likely to produce for both teams.
Deebo Samuel is likely to see plenty of double-teams with Terry McLaurin and Treylon Burks out for the contest. However, he will also see plenty of targets. One darkhorse choice you can try is Jaylin Lane, who could see not only extra targets, but also easier matchups thanks to Samuel taking the attention of the team.
Another darkhorse name to consider is Robbie Chosen, who could see some of Lane's targets if he isn't up to the task.
As for Miami, Jaylen Waddle and De'Von Achane are in play to have big days. Achane has been a set-and-forget running back all season long, and it is no different this week. Additionally, if Waddle is in for a big day, Tua Tagovailoa is likely to have a usable final tally by extension.
Must Starts
- Deebo Samuel
- Jaylin Lane

- De'Von Achane
- Jaylen Waddle
- Zach Ertz
- Tua Tagovailoa

The biggest no-no of the contest is to start either defense. With a shootout likely to be in the cards, there are likely better options on the waiver wire heading into Week 11 than either team. Washington, in particular, is facing some woes with Dan Quinn taking over play-calling duties as of Monday, per Commanders media.
Additionally, with both defenses likely to struggle to stop their opponents, both quarterbacks likely won't need to dig deep into their reads, which means fewer opportunities for some of the deep players on the roster. Washington's backup tight ends, John Bates and Ben Sinnott, in particular, are likely to have minimal fantasy football impacts.
Meanwhile, Miami skill position players like Ollie Gordon II and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine will likely have a minimal impact for similar reasons, with Achane and Waddle likely to be plenty of firepower alone.
