Michael Beasley beat Lance Stephenson 31-21 in their highly anticipated 1-on-1 The Next Chapter matchup on Sunday. The NBA alums decided on March 1 to square off and marked June 6 as the date the winner gets whooping $100,000. Kyrie Irving joined A Milly B Ellis and Marcelas Howard as guest commentators at the TNC O2 duel.

After pocketing the $100K, Beasley went on Instagram to respond to Stephenson’s earlier message about having a great game.

“I love you to the moon and back… Now grab a cigarette and a towel… We made a s*x tape Kim K would envy.”

The postgame exchange between Michael Beasley and Lance Stephenson was in stark contrast to their face-off a day before the showdown. Featured on the Next Chapter YouTube channel, the No. 2 pick in the 2008 draft told the former Indiana Pacers star:

"If you stop, I’m spinning. Imma teach you while I’m s*xing you the f**k up. This is consensual. Get bigger shirt cause’ imma be in that mfer.”"

Stephenson replied that he would not even be wearing any shirt, prompting Beasley to go after him again:

“Cool, better. Get to them ni**les.”

The intensity between Michael Beasley and Lance Stephenson ramped up as the face-off continued. They even agreed to raise the stakes of their 1-on-1 showdown by doubling the prize of the bet.

Beasley, who played 11 seasons in the NBA, had a reputation as an elite 1-on-1 basketball player. Stephenson, a 10-year NBA campaigner also had the same resume in street basketball. The highly anticipated event ended with Beasley walking away with the $100K.

Michael Beasley and Lance Stephenson played one season together with the LA Lakers

Michael Beasley hung up his jersey after spending one season with the LA Lakers. The versatile forward averaged 7.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game as part of LeBron James’ supporting crew.

Beasley did not last a full season after the Lakers traded him and Ivica Zubac to the LA Clippers for Mike Muscala. The former lottery pick did not play a game for his new team while Zubac became a mainstay.

Lance Stephenson arrived in LA at the same time as Michael Beasley. Stephenson took his talents to Hollywood after a second stint with the Indiana Pacers. The combo guard outlasted Beasley during his one-year stay in LA. Stephenson played 68 games, three as a starter and averaged 7.2 PPG, 3.2 RPG and 2.1 APG.

Six years later, the former teammates shared the same court as opponents.
