The Golden State Warriors might be making a run at Giannis Antetokounmpo.
This franchise has been Steph Curry's show for a long time now. How would a Giannis trade impact things?
Well, we know one thing: Curry isn't going anywhere.
NBA insider Brett Siegel reported this week that Curry is the only untouchable on the Warriors' roster.
That makes sense, of course. A franchise doesn't just trade a guy like Curry.

The Milwaukee Bucks are surely watching the Warriors' late-night movement Wednesday with interest, because Jonathan Kuminga was just traded to the Atlanta Hawks, which may make possible moves harder.
Curry, for his part, just wants his legacy to be as a Warrior.
“I never would see myself be in a situation where I’m chasing another championship anywhere else but here,” Curry told Howard Beck of The Ringer. “There’s a certain mentality that we’re all trying to figure this out together. But it doesn’t pacify the desire to win.”

There have been rumors involving Draymond Green. It'd certainly be fascinating to see him playing somewhere else.
The Warriors are without Jimmy Butler for a while with a torn ACL, which complicates things, too.
In reality, Golden State might not be quite positioned to trade for Giannis.
But if the Warriors pulled it off, it'd be to team him up with Curry, not make a swap of the two legends.
