Wawanesa Life’s Bereavement Support provides access to Solace, a digital platform that helps members and their families manage tasks such as estate administration, notifications, and funeral planning, while also addressing the emotional challenges that often follow a loss. Solace was developed by GreenShield Ventures, the innovation hub of GreenShield, Canada’s only non-profit health and benefits company and Wawanesa’s trusted partner.

Eligible claimants with Group Plan Member Life and Dependent Life coverage also receive professional bereavement counselling and financial guidance following the loss of a covered family member.
