Watch LISA of BLACKPINK Sing ‘No Diggity’ With ‘White Lotus’ Costar Tayme Thapthimthong

LISA of BLACKPINK is getting down with Blackstreet and Dr. Dre, jamming out to “No Diggity” with her White Lotus castmate Tayme Thapthimthong in a recent clip.

Posted to Max’s Instagram, the video finds the pair sitting in press-junket chairs as Thapthimthong flexes his vocals while LISA giggles and dances along. “Shorty get down, good Lord/ Baby got ’em up open all over town/ Strictly biz, she don’t play around/ Cover much grounds, got game by the pound,” Thapthimthong sings while performing the iconic 1996 R&B hit, before the K-pop star gets impatient and interjects, “Where’s the hook? I need the hook!”

Thapthimthong then obliges the Thai rapper as she joins in, singing, “I like the way you work it/ No diggity, I got to bag it up.”

When he finishes his serendipitous performance, LISA bursts into applause.

The clip comes just ahead of the highly anticipated White Lotus season 3 finale, airing on Max on Sunday (April 3). The “Rockstar” singer plays Mook, an employee of the fictional hotel chain’s Thailand location who is the object of affection of Thapthimthong’s Gaitok, a shy security guard who has a massive crush on her.

The video also arrives as a report has surfaced about creative difficulties reaching a boiling-over point between the show’s composer, Cristóbal Tapia de Veer, and creator Mike White. Following creative disagreements spanning back to the show’s first season, Tapia de Veer announced that he was exiting the show after this season in an interview with the New York Times published on Thursday (April 3).

“It’s kind of weird right now because I announced to the team a few months ago that I was not coming back, that I was leaving,” he said. “I didn’t tell Mike for various reasons; I wanted to tell him just at the end for the shock and whatever.”
