The Bills won in their true fashion in Week 5, from chaotic lead changes to Josh Allen's dominance.

Buffalo had a collection of exciting, game-changing plays against the Rams during Monday night's 37-34 win in overtime, highlighted by a clutch field-goal block that set up the Bills' game-winning drive.

Prior to then, however, Khalil Shakir made one of the biggest plays of his career — he hit the fastest speed of any ball carrier so far this NFL season on an overtime dash.

Here's a look at Shakir's speed during his overtime catch and how it compares to the fastest so far this season.

Ultimately, Shakir's 57-yard reception from Allen in overtime wouldn't be as consequential as it appeared due to James Cook's fumble just moments later. The Bills got the ball first in overtime — and despite Shakir's big play, the fumble by Cook gave the Rams an opportunity to win it prior to the blocked field goal and Allen leading the final scoring drive.

Still, considering the circumstances of a back-and-forth game between two elite teams, Shakir's sprint was certainly impressive.

On a 2nd & 16, Allen found Shakir in the middle of the field, and the receiver turned on the jets to sprint past multiple Rams defenders.

According to NFL Next Gen Stats, Shakir hit a top speed of 21.89 mph on the play, the fastest of any ball carrier this season.
