WATCH: Caitlin Clark's Influence Grows as Shedeur Sanders Sports Her PEs

There's no denying that Caitlin Clark is one of the most popular athletes in the world today. The Indiana Fever star helped the WNBA and women's basketball grow in her second year as a pro despite being out for the majority of it due to injury.

Clark's influence has reached the NFL, with Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders wearing the Iowa product's latest player edition shoes. Sanders posted his latest vlog on his official YouTube channel, showing his followers around the city.

At one point in the video, Sanders began working out inside a gym and wore the Kobe V Protro "Caitlin Clark" PEs. The shoe's color combination of midnight navy, bright crimson and hints of university gold looked fantastic on the court as the former Colorado QB did some drills.

While Caitlin Clark's career in the WNBA has taken off, Shedeur Sanders is off to a rough start. He fell to the fifth round of the NFL draft and was selected by the Cleveland Browns. He started the season as the fourth-string quarterback before getting promoted to backup a few weeks ago.

However, Sanders hasn't played a snap this season despite the struggles of starting quarterback Dillon Gabriel. His status as a backup could even be in jeopardy with Deshaun Watson possibly getting cleared to return anytime soon.

As for Clark, she is set to appear at The ANNIKA Pro-Am golf tournament in Florida from Nov. 13 to 16 for the second year in a row. She has been cleared to participate after recovering from a sprained ankle and a strained groin.

At one point in time, Caitlin Clark and Shedeur Sanders were two of the most popular college athletes in the United States. Clark was taking over Iowa, while Sanders was leading Colorado.

Before a game back in June, Clark subtly paid tribute to Sanders by doing his iconic celebration. The Indiana Fever star showed off her Rolex to the cameras, like what the star quarterback was doing during his college career, as per Yahoo! Sports.

It will be interesting to see what's in store for both athletes moving forward. Clark needs to have the best trainers to prevent further muscle-related injuries, while Sanders awaits his opportunity to make his NFL debut for the Cleveland Browns.
