The Pittsburgh Steelers under new head coach Mike McCarthy will be an interesting watch in 2026, and for a host of reasons.
The biggest one is how the offense operates.
Will they be a run-first offense like they were last season, or with DK Metcalf and now Michael Pittman Jr, will McCarthy want to air it out?
Well, we might have already gotten an answer, and we aren't sure we were supposed to.
New signing Pittman Jr. might have just accidentally revealed McCarthy's offensive plans.
"I don't want to give up his secret sauce, but it was very positive," Pittman said via ESPN. "That's got to be classified; that's between me and him. It just got me fired up. And I feel like Pittsburgh is like my style of football, like just really that tough smash-mouth, gritty. And I think that I just fit in perfectly here."

Steelers going to be run-heavy offense?
Well, going by Pittman's words, that is exactly what they'll be.
With Jaylen Warren as RB1, the Steelers look like they are going to run the ball down people's throats, in a similar way they did last year.
But also, you don't sign a player like Pittman Jr. if you aren't planning on airing it out either.
So, it might be a little bit of both for McCarthy's Steelers, and while the new head coach might have wanted to keep things close to the vest, his new receiver might have just accidentally outed what the Steelers' plans are for 2026.
