The Golden State Warriors are ready to make it far in the playoffs. After winning a thrilling play-in game versus the Grizzlies, the Warriors downed the No. 2 seeded Rockets in seven games to keep dancing into the Conference Semifinals. 

Now, they'll face the red-hot Timberwolves.

The Warriors (48-34) traded star player Klay Thompson to the Dallas Mavericks before the start of the season, ending an era in San Francisco. Buddy Hield joined the team, and the Warriors continued to bolster its roster via the massive trade for the Miami Heat’s Jimmy Butler.

Butler helped the Warriors work past the Memphis Grizzlies in the play-in game. He ranks not far behind in minutes played behind franchise player Steph Curry, who leads the team in points per game (24.5) and assists (6.0). Draymond Green leads the team in rebounds (6.1), steals (1.5), and blocks (1.0).

The new-look team looks to return to the promised land and win the franchise’s first title since the 2021-2022 season.

As the No. 7 seed, the Warriors will play the Timberwolves, the No. 6 seed, in the second round of the NBA Playoffs. Golden State defeated the No. 2 Rockets in seven games to advance past the first round.

When do the Warriors play in the 2025 NBA Playoffs?

The No.7 Warriors face the No. 6 Timberwolves in the Conference Semifinals beginning on Tuesday, May 6. Golden State defeated the Grizzlies in the play-game before downing the No. 2 Rockets in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

Regardless of who advances, he Western Conference Finals are set to begin on Tuesday, May 20, and the NBA Finals will tip off on Thursday, June 5.
