Jonathan Kuminga's destiny is still to be determined.
But one team is particularly interested in the Golden State Warriors forward: the Miami Heat.
ESPN's Shams Charnia hopped on the middle of the NBA Draft broadcast Wednesday night to share two Kuminga updates.
The first: That the Warriors wouldn't mind keeping Kuminga.

The second: If the Warriors are seeking a sign-and-trade partner, the Heat would be interested.
Kuminga is one of the most talented players available this offseason, at least potentially.
He fell out of Golden State's rotation after the acquisition of Jimmy Butler, but then he shone bright in the playoffs when Butler and then Steph Curry were out.

It's a dilemma for the Warriors, who know Kuminga could be a big part of their future but doesn't necessarily fit Steve Kerr's desired rotations in the present.
The Heat seem like they'd be happy to step in and take Kuminga off of Golden State's hands. He'd almost operate as a direct Butler replacement in Miami.
This could definitely make sense, so as the draft winds down and the weekend approaches, don't be shocked to hear Kuminga's name again.
