If the Milwaukee Bucks trade Giannis Antetokounmpo, who hasn't asked out yet, every team in the league will show interest. For some, however, adding Antetokounmpo could be a short and long-term play.
The Golden State Warriors would perfectly fit that description, pairing Antetokounmpo with Stephen Curry, a dream duo.
While it seems far-fetched that Antetokounmpo would end up in Golden State due to limited assets, Sam Amick of The Athletic reported that he has been a dream target of the Warriors. Antetokounmpo also made an appearance at one of Curry's events, which didn't include many others from outside the organization.
"Antetokounmpo, who has been known to be a dream target of the Warriors for a long time, made a late-night appearance at Curry’s party in San Francisco during All-Star weekend. Warriors officials on hand took (gleeful) notice — including fellow attendee, Golden State owner Joe Lacob. Draymond Green and Kevon Looney were part of the get-together as well," he wrote.

Any team that wants to trade for Antetokounmpo, outside of the very few that have the assets to land him, will have to hope that he asks for a trade to their specific team. Ultimately, the Bucks have no reason to take a small package, as their future relies on Antetokounmpo or the package they get for him.
Anything is possible in the current landscape of the NBA, but it doesn't seem likely that the Warriors would be the ideal fit due to their assets. However, it's impossible to tell how things will go in the coming months.
