Warriors could land Bucks star by offering this four-player, five-pick package

If you think the Golden State Warriors don't have a chance to land a certain superstar from the Milwaukee Bucks, think again.

A new trade proposal from Fadeaway World's Ishaan Bhattacharya has the Warriors landing Giannis Antetokounmpo in exchange for an epic four-player, five-pick package, and it surprisingly makes a lot of sense for both teams.

The trade specifics, via Bhattacharya, are as follows:

“Milwaukee Bucks Receive: Andrew Wiggins, Jonathan Kuminga, Brandin Podziemski, De'Anthony Melton, 2025 First-Round Pick (GSW), 2027 First-Round Pick (GSW), 2029 First-Round Pick (GSW), 2026 Second-Round Pick (ATL), 2028 Second-Round Pick (ATL).”

“Golden State Warriors Receive: Giannis Antetokounmpo, MarJon Beauchamp, Chris Livingston, Tyler Smith.”

“(Stephen) Curry is still performing at an All-NBA level and the Warriors would become terrifying to face if they added a two-way demon like Giannis (Antetokounmpo) next to him,” Bhattacharya said.

“But a trade would be complicated, as the Warriors need to match the Bucks' salary for salary as well as player for player due to Milwaukee's status as a second-apron team.”

“Giannis … would revolutionize the Warriors as a genuine inside presence on offense with All-Defensive production. He is also a competent playmaker and could be a passing hub which further allows Steph to dominate off-ball.”

“But to get Giannis on the Warriors, they'll have to part with 2022 Champions Andrew Wiggins ($26,276,786) and Jonathan Kuminga ($7,636,307), along with prized young asset Brandin Podziemski ($3,519,960) and summer signing De'Anthony Melton ($12,822,000).”

“The Bucks receive these talented players for Giannis and assorted young role players who aren't in their rotation, alongside three first-round picks and two second-round picks. It's a hard offer to turn down and is probably the best the Warriors can offer for a player of Giannis' stature.”

It's a massive haul for the Bucks, no doubt.

In addition to the five picks, Milwaukee would exit the trade being legitimately 10-deep and much younger.

Guys like Podziemski, Kuminga, or even Wiggins coming off the bench for Milwaukee would represent a superior bench situation to what the Bucks have right now.

With a veteran core of Lillard, Middleton, Lopez, and Portis still on the roster, there's no reason why the Bucks couldn't turn things around with such a strong injection of youth and depth and make the playoffs in the weak East.

From the Warriors' perspective, bringing in Giannis alongside Steph and Draymond Green would make them instant contenders, no matter who else is in their rotation.
