War Dept. blows past UFO video release deadline as Trump now pushes for release: ‘very soon’

The Pentagon claims a clerical error caused it to blow a congressional deadline to release 46 videos of UFOs — but President Trump vowed to the disclosure would come “very soon.”

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) announced the Department of War did not meet the April 15 deadline to release the out-of-this-world video clips — and only acknowledged receipt when Congress demanded answers to the oversight request.

“[I]t appears that someone did not pass the letter to the appropriate authorities. How convenient,” Luna wrote on X earlier this week. “Nonetheless, we will be getting the requested list.”

“The Secretary of War is someone I consider a friend and someone who backs the President. The President has authorized the release, so whoever is trying to be cute at the Pentagon can take a hike,” Luna added.

The department was tasked by President Trump in February with overseeing the release “files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs) of the UFO and alien files” — which the President doubled down on during a Turning Point Action rally on Friday.

“We found many very interesting documents, I must say. And the first release will begin very, very soon. So, you can go out and see if that phenomenon is correct,” said Trump.

“You’ll figure it out. Let me know,” he told the audience, adding, “But we’ve had a lot of questions. It’s something that — it really captivates the mind, there’s no question about it.”

The potentially world-shaking trove of 46 videos request by Congress includes military radar footage, satellite images, and even video of Unidentified Submerged Objects zipping around submarines in the ocean, a source who has viewed the videos claimed.

Some of the clips are in clear, full color — a step above the radar videos that have previously been released. Other videos could have conventional explanations, however, according to a source.

The Department of War claims it is on top of the issue and working in coordination with the White House.

“The Department of War’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) is working in close coordination with the White House and across federal agencies to consolidate existing UAP records collections and facilitate the expeditious release of never-before-seen UAP information,” a War Department official said in a statement.

“Since the office was established, AARO has made progress to make UAP information available and transfer those records to the National Archives in accordance with federal law,” the statement continued.

“We welcome the president’s initiative to supercharge these efforts and make more UAP information available to the public as soon as possible,” the War Department official concluded.

Congress is prepared if any wayward federal government employees attempt to alter or delete the videos — with two sources telling The Post that moles in the intelligence community have eyes on the files and are ready to blow the whistle if the videos are changed in any way.
