Wacko on electric scooter randomly grabs kid, punches him in the face on NYC street: cops

Police are searching for a wacko on an electric scooter who randomly pushed a boy to the ground and punched him in the face while the kid was with his mom in Queens, according to authorities and sources.

The 12-year-old boy was walking with his mother near Blossom Avenue and Main Street in Flushing around 9 p.m. on June 18 when the random attack unfolded, according to the NYPD and law enforcement sources.

An unidentified man on an electric scooter rode up to the pair, then grabbed the boy, pushed him to the ground, and slugged him in the face, cops and sources said.

The suspect fled the scene after the alarming assault, sources added.

The boy was taken to New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital by responding officers in stable condition.

Cops released a photo of the suspect, who was riding a scooter and carrying a large jug of orange juice while wearing a blue shirt, khaki shorts, and white sneakers.
