Seventy-five dollars for a cup suddenly doesn’t seem so bad.

The Shohei Ohtani souvenir mug that’s been causing quite the stir at Dodger Stadium this season is now fetching some shocking numbers on the resale market.

Multiple listings on eBay show fans are asking for prices in the $300-$400 range for the item, and according to the Los Angeles Times, some have actually gotten between $199.99 and $290 for it.

The Ohtani-themed vessel first went on sale on Opening Day last week, and it initially came with a $74.99 price tag.

It was made to look like an Ohtani No. 17 jersey, and the Dodgers promised free refills for an entire day with purchase.

However, after the cup’s sky-high price tag went viral on social media, it was knocked down to $68.99 and then came with free refills for the entirety of 2026.

Angel Yanez, 41, and his 18-year-old son told The California Post over the weekend that they didn’t have much of a problem opening up their wallet that much for the collectible.

“It makes more sense through the year, we are season pass holders,” Yanez said. “We’re going to utilize the cups every time we are here.”

Knowing that it’s now only gained in value certainly should help ease any buyer’s remorse as well.
