A violent crew pummeled an on-duty MTA worker during a clash inside a Bronx subway station this week, cops said.
The 55-year-old employee was in the mezzanine of the Bruckner Boulevard and Hunts Point Avenue No. 6 train station around 1:45 a.m. Tuesday when the four miscreants approached him and started a fight, police said.
Two male suspects repeatedly punched the worker in the face before running off on foot, cops said.
Two women who were with the men during the fisticuffs fled the scene on a northbound No. 6 train, authorities said.
The worker was treated at the scene for minor injuries, police said.
The hotheaded quartet was pictured in images released by the NYPD late Wednesday.
One of the men was last seen wearing white T-shirt, gray sweatpants and white sneakers.
The other was spotted wearing a black sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and white and black sneakers, police said.
One of the women was last seen wearing a black vest, white shirt, black pants, and black and white sneakers.
The second was captured wearing a black jacket, blue shirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers, cops said.
The violence came just days after a crazed man identified as illegal Honduran migrant Bairon Hernandez, 34, allegedly shoved two men — 83 and 30 — onto the subway tracks at the Lexington Avenue-63rd Street station Sunday afternoon, authorities said.
Last week, an unhinged man identified as Sergio Santiago, 41, allegedly threw an unknown object at an NYPD cop’s head at the Fordham Road subway station in the Bronx while the officer tried to arrest him for an earlier stabbing, cops said.
The NYPD previously revealed transit crime spiked nearly 20% in February as cold weather policies prevented cops from booting rule-breaking passengers from the subway.
A total of 192 offenses were reported in the system last month, an 18.5% jump from the 162 tallied in February 2025, NYPD data show.
