The Minnesota Vikings' training camp this offseason is going to be one of the most-watched across the league because of the quarterback battle that will capture the imagination.
J.J. McCarthy has it all to do to prove himself "the" guy to lead Kevin O'Connell's offense, as Kyler Murray was signed this offseason to be the starter.
For most, the job is Kyler's to lose, but as we know, the NFL is unpredictable.
And for receiver Justin Jefferson, who will be catching passes from both this offseason, he's eager to see how the battle plays out.
"Just competition, for real," Jefferson said on Good Morning Football via NFL.com. "Just to see, who's gonna be that last man standing? Who's gonna be that dawg? Who's gonna be that leader to carry us throughout the season? Because that is definitely a missing piece that we're looking for and something that is very important to our team, which is the quarterback spot.

Who will win Vikings' QB battle?
That is perhaps the biggest question of the offseason.
For a lot of people, McCarthy is fighting a losing battle because if Minnesota was confident that he was "the" guy, it wouldn't have signed Murray.
Plus, Kyler will need reps to prove himself, reps that McCarthy desperately needs, so everything is pointing to Murray being the guy for O'Connell.
Of course, things could change and McCarthy could beat Murray outright, but for most, that isn't likely.
How it plays out over the coming months is going to be fascinating to watch.
