Video obtained by Fox 5 DC shows the arrest of Elijah Zion Bieniemy after allegedly shooting his mother and the wife of Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy, Mia, on Sunday night.
Five police cars can be seen in the video at the scene of the shooting at the couple’s home in Ashburn,Va. Elijah Bieniemy can be seen leaning his chest against one of the cars, getting handcuffed and checked for other possible weapons on him by police.
An officer took the 27-year-old’s phone and wallet out of his right pocket.
Per the news station, a neighbor recalled hearing two gunshots and a woman screaming.

Elijah Zion Bieniemy’s mug shot. Loudoun County Sheriff's Office via APDeputies responded to a report of shooting around 7:32 p.m. and they arrived on the scene to find an adult female suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
Mia is currently in stable condition after being shot in the chest and arm, per ESPN.
“The club is aware of the incident involving Eric Bieniemy’s family,” the Chiefs said in a statement to The Post. “Out of respect for their privacy, we won’t have a comment at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.”
The younger Bieniemy was charged with malicious wounding, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and discharge of a firearm inside of a dwelling.
He is currently being held without bond at Loudoun County adult detention center.
The sheriff’s office stated Monday the investigation remains ongoing.

By Monday, he left the Chiefs and did not attend the day’s practice.
After serving as the offensive coordinator in Kansas City from 2018-2022 with two Super Bowl wins, Bieniemy left for three years before returning to the position for the 2026 season.
