The entire NBA has been put on notice after San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama was drafted by the team with the No. 1 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.
After having to sit out for a large portion of his sophomore season with deep vein thrombosis (DVT), Wembanyama has returned to action for his third season in the league. The 7-foot-6 phenom has been nothing but dominant so far.
In Monday's win over the Chicago Bulls, Wembanyama filled up the stat sheet, finishing with 38 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, five blocks, and one steal while shooting 11-for-19 from the field.

Fellow analyst Chandler Parsons added to the comments, saying, "Do you watch this man play basketball? It's beautiful."
— Run It Back (@RunItBackFDTV) November 11, 2025The way Victor Wembanyama plays basketball, at his unique size, is definitely something that has never been seen before in the NBA.
It seems as if the big man is only getting his career started. In his age-21 season, Wembanyama is averaging 25.7 points, 12.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 3.9 blocks, and 1.2 steals a game while shooting 50.6% from the field and 32.6% from three.
