Wembanyama, in particular, was a standout because he was scoring and defending at the highest level possible. He was visibly tired, but he kept fighting for the Spurs, which affected his emotions after the game.

"The fact that we were down 25, I think. In that nobody gave up, in that I had limited minutes, our starters had limited minutes. Everybody who was on the court helped in one way or another," Wembanyama honestly said after the game.

"The best thing is that nobody gives up on anything or anybody. Everybody gots everybody's back. That's why I have blind trust in these guys. I love them. It's such a privilege to play with them on the court and see them every day."

Wembanyama is clearly passionate about the game, and he loves what he has seen from his teammates. The grit and toughness they put on display proved that the Spurs can beat anyone, and they will continue being a tough matchup for years to come.
