Victor Wembanyama has always been a standout player for the San Antonio Spurs because of his height. What makes him so fantastic is his impressive skill set. He uses his height as a traditional big man, but he has other dimensions to his game.

That includes his three-point shooting, as he is shooting at an above-average 36%. Against the Boston Celtics, Wembanyama led his team with a superb performance, which involved 39 points and 11 rebounds with eight made threes.

It was another strong performance from Wembanyama, as he showed that he can dominate against any defense. The Celtics tried to load up in the paint, but since he was given space, Wembanyama took more three-pointers than usual.

The game plan paid off for the Spurs because Wembanyama dominated the game with his three-point shooting. Boston tried to catch up to Wemby, but he was in the zone, so the Celtics could not cope with the pressure.

As one of the biggest stars in the league, there is no set way of stopping him. Of course, teams try to be physical against the Spurs, but it backfires against them at times. The Celtics tried to give him space, but he capitalized on it.

"Mostly taking what the defense gave me. The key was doing it all game long. I don't think I overdid it in one quarter or another. I liked it," Wembanyama said after the game.

With his three-point shooting, Wembanyama continues to succeed as one of the biggest stars in the basketball world. The Spurs will continue to be one of the best teams in the league, and it will be because of the pick-your-poison defense teams have to play against them.
