An apparently homeless man was stabbed twice in the middle of Times Square Saturday — yelling “save the children” while bleeding profusely after the attack, cops and witnesses said.

The 30-year-old victim was outside 1501 Broadway, which houses Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers and other restaurants, at West 44th Street in the Crossroads of the World when the attacker plunged a knife into his left ribs and arm around 11:40 a.m., cops said.

A vendor said the victim was shirtless, bleeding from his chest and yelling repeatedly after he was injured.

The victim, whose identity wasn’t released, was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, cops said. He was “highly uncooperative” and police weren’t sure what led up to the assault, cops said.

The attacker took off in an unknown direction and was described as wearing a black jacket and dark pants, cops said.
