Vance denies ‘wedge’ with Trump over Iran war, claims foreign war opposition was only under ‘dumb’ presidents

Vice President JD Vance pushed back on questions about his support of President Trump’s war on Iran, saying there was now a smart leader in the Oval Office instead of a “dumb” one.

“We have a smart president,” he said. “In the past, we’ve had dumb presidents, and I trust President Trump can get the job done, to do a good job for the American people, and to make sure that none of the mistakes the past are repeated, absolutely.”
