The Golden State Valkyries continue to defy expectations, as the team will once again compete in the playoffs after debuting last season.
Last year, Golden State reached the playoffs with 23 wins. This year, the team has improved dramatically by sitting as a top team in the WNBA standings.
This team thrived all thanks to the efforts of Veronica Burton, Kayla Thornton and new star Gabby Williams. Meanwhile, Janelle Salaun is the leading candidate for Sixth Player of the Year.
