Devin Lloyd added to his already impressive breakout season in Jacksonville. The former Utah Utes standout picked off Patrick Mahomes at the goal line and took it 99 yards for a score. The early candidate for Play of the Year put the Jaguars up 21-14 in the third quarter of Monday night's contest.
Lloyd's rumble down the sideline was also the longest pick-six in Jacksonville franchise history. This adds to the highlight reel for the Jags linebacker, who came into this week as the AFC Defensive Player of the Month for September.
— NFL (@NFL) October 7, 2025As the No. 27 overall selection in the 2022 NFL Draft, Lloyd turned in one of his best career games in a 26-21 victory over the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium in Week 4. He registered two interceptions with eight tackles in that game, becoming the first linebacker in franchise history with two interceptions in a game.
The pick-six against the Kansas City Chiefs was his fourth interception of the year, which currently leads the NFL. It was also Lloyd's first career NFL touchdown. He left Utah with 43 tackles for loss which is still fourth-most in program history. He also finished the 2021 season as the only active Pac-12 player with three career pick-sixes.
