Usher Says Sean "Diddy” Combs Has Been “Misrepresented”

There goes Usher kicking a fan offstage.

The “There Goes My Baby” singer booted a female fan offstage during his and Chris Brown’s R&B Tour concert stop in Nashville, Tenn., on July 25 after she didn’t match his sultry energy.

In a video shared to Instagram by @malaysiarosee from the concert, the fan sat on a bed onstage as a shirtless Usher serenaded her before suggesting she lay back on the mattress.

But the fan wanted to keep it classy as she attempted to stay upright. Soon after, the “Yeah!” hitmaker heard her subtle “no” loud and clear.

As he said during the awkward interaction, “I don’t think she wants to be on the stage.”

The Grammy winner—who married Jennifer Goicoechea in 2024—then walked away from the fan before shooing her away behind him as boos filled the stadium.

The fan later addressed criticism over her reserved appearance onstage.

“First off NOBODY is declining to go on stage,” she wrote on social media. “I looked good asf, you think I wasn’t going to let THOUSANDS of people see me?”

She explained that she and her mom originally had floor seats for the concert, but that she was moved to the VIP section before the performance began.

“They don’t say who you’re going up there for!” she wrote. “Y’all wanted me to go up there and f--k him atp?”

But some social media users commended her for standing her ground with the “Confessions” singer.

“She got class. Much respect!” one user commented, while another added, “She’s classy AF. Don’t matter who you are. She knows exactly who she is and stood on it.”

But the interaction wouldn’t mark Usher’s first onstage controversy. After all, the 47-year-old drew criticism after his handsy performance with Alicia Keys—who tied the knot with Swizz Beatz in 2010—during his 2024 Super Bowl halftime show performance.

"Usher wasted so much time caressing Alicia, we could've got Daddy's Home," one viewer joked on X at the time, while another added, "Usher did not need to hug up on Alicia like that lol."

But Swizz Beatz cleared the air following the electric performance, proving he’ll always have his boo’s back.

"Y'all talking about the wrong damn thing !!!" the producer captioned a 2024 Instagram post featuring a snap of Alicia's red dress, "y'all don't see that amazing dress covering the entire stadium Tonight's performance was nothing but amazing with 2 amazing Giants! Congrats @usher and my love @aliciakeys that song is a classic. We don't do negative vibes on this side we make history."
