You probably didn't hear it here first, but you can take it to the bank nonetheless – University (San Francisco) boys basketball is set for yet another strong season in 2025-26.
Fresh off a third place finish in the CIF-NCS Division 2 and a total domination of Division 3 the year prior to that, the Red Devils scored an average of 70 PPG to go 4-0 at Section 7 and win a title in the MiCamp Solutions bracket.

University returns one of the Bay Area's premier guards, senior point guard Lucas Lau. He was named First Team All-Metro by the SF Chronicle as a junior with 22.1 points and 6.2 assists per game, and was on fire at Section 7 with 26 points and 4.3 assists per game on a filthy 68% FG.

Fellow 6-foot-1 senior lead guard Thomas Meehleib and 6-foot-2 small-ball forward Leo Felder, a rising junior, are another two of University's top players to watch. They're already among the team's best returning players and are prime candidates to break out further in 2025-26 with the Red Devils graduating a standout senior class that included all-metro wing/forward Jason Morris.
The Red Devils went 3-1 at California Live a weekend later to cap off a terrific June.
