England captain Harry Kane pushed him close as he moved to 14 goals in a pulsating semifinal against PSG, where Bayern Munich came up just short, losing 6-5 on aggregate.
Mbappe and Kane shared the Golden Boot with eight apiece in 2023/24.

Last season, Serhou Guirassy and Raphinha finished joint-top goal-scorers across the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League campaign.
The two shared the Golden Boot award, as UEFA does not use tie-breakers to select one winner when multiple players are level on goals.
As part of this campaign, Raphinha equalled Cristiano Ronaldo's record for total goal contributions in a single Champions League season, with 13 goals and eight assists.
