The 2026 FIFA World Cup is fast approaching, with less than 100 days remaining until the most popular sport takes center stage in North America. The state of Texas will be one of the main hot spots of the tournament. Two cities in North Texas have been chosen to host training sessions for the national teams that are visiting.

Frisco is home to FC Dallas, MLS’s signature team in the area, and their stadium, named Toyota Stadium, will be used as one of the two locations. The other, called Mansfield Stadium, has not opened yet. FC Dallas will use it later on as the home of its reserve team, but for the World Cup, it will serve as a base camp.
AT&T Stadium, referred to as Dallas Stadium by FIFA for this event, will be home to nine World Cup games, including the semifinal match. That’ll be the most matches hosted by a single stadium in the entire competition.
