A deranged Texas man allegedly beat his mom and dog to death in an “exorcism” — and then shared photos of their bodies on Snapchat, according to police.
Taylor Valdez, 23, was found covered in blood and holding a Bible when Fort Worth police arrived at his door after a 911 call from one of his friends saying they had received a disturbing photo of Valdez’s dead mother and dog.
Valdez walked outside and sat down in a chair on the front porch with blood on his face, neck, chest, hands and feet and quickly confessed, according to an affidavit obtained by Fox 4 News.
“It was an exorcism,” he allegedly told police. “I was doing witchcraft to kill my mom.”
Asked if anyone else was in the house, he responded, “There is a dead body in there, it’s my mom.”
Cops found the body of the 58-year-old mom, Tersita Sayson, in the blood-spattered master bedroom with trauma to her face and upper body. A dead dog was also in the room.
Investigators found a broken jewelry box with blood and hair wedged into the box during a search of the home.

Sayson was pronounced dead at the scene. The Medical Examiner’s office determined she died from blunt force trauma.
Several of Valdez’s friends were at the scene. One of them told police that Valdez had sent a photo to their Snapchat group showing a dead woman covered in blood as well as the dead dog, with blood on the wall and carpet.
That friend told police he warned the others not to open the message.
Valdez was taken into custody but refused to answer officers’ questions and requested an attorney. He was charged with murder and is being held at the Tarrant County Jail on a $750,000 bond, according to Fox 4 News.
