Twins' Harrison Bader garnering lots of interest, expected to be moved

Minnesota Twins centerfielder Harrison Bader is having a great season and is expected to be on the move in the coming days.

Minnesota is shopping their expiring contracts, and Bader would be a fit for a lot of teams needing outfield help.

Bader, 31, has 12 home runs and 38 RBI while slashing .255/.336/.441 in 94 games this season, while playing great defense.

Bleacher Report’s Zachary D. Rymer named Bader one of the hidden gems on the trade market.

“Bader is, of course, normally known for his spectacular defense. That remains the case in 2025, wherein he's been good for five Outs Above Average for the Twins,” wrote Rymer. “Bader's bat tends to be less reliable, but he has a solid .777 OPS overall and he's been hot in July with a .972 OPS. He has been hitting the ball better than usual, as his barrel rate is close to a career high at 11.8 percent.”

His defensive prowess alone is enough for contending teams to pursue the talented outfielder.

Rymer listed the Los Angeles Dodgers, Texas Rangers, New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies as potential suitors.

The San Diego Padres could be in play as well, considering they need an upgrade in left field. The Gold-Glover fits the mold of what the team needs.
