(Bloomberg) — President Donald Trump said his physical at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center went “PERFECTLY,” but provided no details on the results of his examination.

Trump’s Tuesday visit to Walter Reed marked his fourth publicly disclosed medical appointment since the start of his second term. It is also Trump’s third known meeting with a dentist this year, more than the twice-yearly checkups typical for most Americans. Trump had three doctor’s visits last year.

The White House offered few details about the visit ahead of time and Trump also did not describe any exams or tests that he underwent.

“Just finished my 6 month physical at Walter Reed Military Medical Center. Everything checked out PERFECTLY. Thank you to the great Doctors and Staff!,” he posted on social media.

A year into his second term, Trump has shown some visible signs of aging, including swelling in his legs, discoloration on his neck and bruising on his hands, which he attempts to cover with makeup. He’s been diagnosed with a common vein disease. He also underwent advanced imaging last year on his heart and abdomen that the White House described as “preventative.” Trump, who turns 80 next month, frequently closes his eyes for extended periods of time during public White House events.

The scrutiny of Trump’s health has been heightened by his status as the oldest person ever inaugurated as US president. The White House has said it will provide a statement on the president’s appointments.

Trump has in the past guarded and, at times, obfuscated details about his medical condition, making selective disclosures that have left unanswered questions. He has also batted away concerns about his well-being, repeatedly asserting that he has sailed through a number of cognitive tests.

“I’ve taken it and I aced it all three times,” Trump said at a rally Friday in New York. “Nice to be smart.”

Trump consistently says he is in great shape. His age has not become a political liability as it did for his predecessor, Joe Biden, whose public decline led him to abandon a reelection bid at the age of 81.

The trip comes at a precarious moment for Trump, who is pushing for an agreement to end the war in Iran, which has destabilized global energy markets and damaged his political standing ahead of November’s midterm elections.
