The PGA Tour heads into its final stop before the year's second major with the 2025 Truist Championship, a tournament that has undergone a name change and another venue shift as it continues its ever-evolving legacy.

Formerly known as the Wells Fargo Championship and typically held at Quail Hollow, the event will now tee off at a fresh location for only the third time in its history.

All eyes this week will be on defending champion Rory McIlroy, who won the competition at Quail Hollow Club for the fourth time last year. He returns to the course for the first time since capturing an emotional Masters triumph at Augusta.

With momentum firmly on his side and a strong track record at this time of year, the Northern Irishman is the clear front-runner heading into the Truist Championship. However, he won't be without competition.

Justin Thomas enters the week fresh off a breakthrough win at the RBC Heritage, snapping a lengthy winless streak. His iron play has been razor sharp all season, and with the pressure now off, JT could be poised to ride that hot form straight into contention again. The Truist Championship will air on Golf Channel nationally. CBS will carry the final hours of the third and fourth round, beginning at 3:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, and Sunday.
