Trinity Rodman reveals striking US Open outfit with nod to Ben Shelton

Trinity Rodman is supporting her man in style.

Rodman supported Ben Shelton at his second-round match at the US Open on Sept. 2, when she went viral for her reaction. While fans enjoyed not only her reaction, but her shirt also became a centerpiece in conversation as the black crop top read, "I love my boyfriend," in reference to the tennis star.

Following her viral moment, she shared a photo of her full outfit on her Instagram on Sept. 3. She paired her black crop top with a black Adidas skirt with their iconic white stripes. The skirt was layered in an asymmetrical placement that made her look not only sporty but unique. The Washington Spirit star signed a record-breaking contract extension with the sports brand earlier this year.

To top it off, Rodman paired her outfit with white heels that had a single ankle strap and a brown handbag. 

"My turn to serve," Rodman captioned the post.

How did Trinity Rodman and Ben Shelton start their relationship?

Rodman and Shelton began their relationship in 2025 when the soccer star slid into his DMs. She opened up about the "embarrassing" moment during her interview with Kylie Kelce on her "Not Gonna Lie" podcast.

“Everything I do is just embarrassing. I’m really embarrassed,” she told Kelce. “I said ‘You’re sick, fire emoji,’ That’s it … It worked, he responded within 10 minutes, so I win.”

The two have been supportive of one another as they navigate their professional sports careers, as Shelton has also attended her soccer matches. 

Rodman has been cheering Shelton on in his first and second rounds of the US Open, and it's likely she'll return for his third-round match tomorrow. Shelton's third-round match is against Denis Shapovalov on Sept. 4 at 8:10 p.m. ET.
