Trinity Rodman has viral reaction to boyfriend Ben Shelton US Open advancement

Trinity Rodman is supporting Ben Shelton after his third-round advancement at the US Open.

Shelton defeated Hubert Hurkacz in the second round of the US Open on Sept. 2, and Rodman made sure to cheer him on in style. Rodman has been cheering on her boyfriend since he began the tournament earlier this week, but last night's celebration from the soccer star caught a lot of fans' attention. After it was solidified that Shelton would go to round three of the men's singles tournament, Rodman broke out in a little dance to celebrate.

That wasn't all; she was already turning heads with her adorable nod to Shelton in her look for the night. The Washington Spirit star wore a black cropped T-shirt that read, "I love my boyfriend."

Trinity Rodman and Ben Shelton's relationship

Rodman and Shelton began their relationship in 2025 when the soccer star slid into his DMs. She opened up about the "embarrassing" moment during her interview with Kylie Kelce on her "Not Gonna Lie" podcast.

“Everything I do is just embarrassing. I’m really embarrassed,” she told Kelce. “I said ‘You’re sick, fire emoji,’ That’s it … It worked, he responded within 10 minutes, so I win.”

In March 2025, Shelton shared a picture of Rodman kissing him on the cheek in an elevator in his Instagram photo dump as they hard-launched their relationship. Rodman followed up with her own Instagram post of Shelton, playfully captioning the photo, "Dibs."

The two have been supporting one another ever since. While Rodman sits courtside during Shelton's tournaments, he has also been spotted at the soccer star's matches. 

Next up for Shelton is his third-round match against Denis Shapovalov on Sept. 4.
