Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are saying “So long, London” after completing their trip to the city a few days ago, details of which the Kansas City Chiefs tight end just shared on the latest episode of New Heights.
In the podcast posted Wednesday (May 13), cohost and retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce told his little brother, “I found out you were in London on the internet, that was fun.”
“London is fun, Jason,” Travis replied. “For the most part, [we] had some really good food and enjoyed some plays.”
Indeed, fans across the pond spotted the pop superstar and athlete attending the West End production of Romeo & Juliet starring the leading lady in Swift’s VMA-winning “All Too Well (10 Minute Version)” short film on May 7. “Saw Sadie Sink and — I believe Noah Jupe is his name,” Travis continued on New Heights. “He was f–king phenomenal as Romeo. Sadie was phenomenal as Juliet as well.”
The Grotesquerie star also raved about the food at an Indian restaurant in London, leading Jason to tease the younger Kelce about being a picky eater. “Taylor has gotten you out of your comfort zone more than I ever did,” he said.
“You didn’t like food before you started dating Taylor,” Jason added later, to which Travis shot back, “Bogus.”
Swifties online were loving all the photos that emerged of the 14-time Grammy winner and her fiancé out and about in London. The couple also reportedly attended Poppy Delevingne’s 40th birthday party while in the city before heading back home to the States.
After gushing about his trip, Travis welcomed guest Colin Jost onto the podcast, and the two men bonded about having ultra-famous significant others.
“As two guys who are also of the plus-one fraternity and have the same experience, how nice is it to be the less famous person in your relationship?” the NFL star asked the Saturday Night Live cast member, who is married to Oscar-winner Scarlett Johansson.
“Huge relief,” Jost responded, causing Travis and Jason to erupt with laughter. “It’s really funny, because I think I’m probably approached more, because she’s less approachable. She’s almost so famous that they don’t believe it sometimes.”
