The Kansas City Chiefs took on the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day. Travis Kelce caught a touchdown that put him in the Chiefs history books.

Kelce's fourth-quarter 12-yard receiving touchdown made him the all-time franchise receiving touchdown leader, passing Hall of Fame tight end Tony Gonzalez. It was Kelce's 77th receiving touchdown with the Chiefs. Kelce celebrated with Gonzalez's iconic celebration by dunking the football through the goalposts, resulting in a 15-yard penalty.

After the play, Mahomes made sure to retrieve the football and give it to Kelce on the sideline. Kelce achieved the milestone in his 175th career game, all with the Chiefs. Gonzalez had 76 touchdowns in 190 games with the Chiefs.

Gonzalez caught 35 more touchdowns with the Atlanta Falcons in 80 games after his time with the Chiefs. Kelce is surely headed for the Hall of Fame when his career is over. He still has time to add to his historic Chiefs record. The Chiefs are looking to be the first team to win three consecutive Super Bowls.

Kelce is top 5 all-time in touchdowns by tight ends. He trails Jimmy Graham, Rob Gronkowski, Tony Gonzalez and Antonio Gates. Gates is first all-time in receiving touchdowns by a tight end with 116. It will take many more years of Kelce playing to reach that mark. However, he could pass Graham who has 89.
