New Hampshire police are on the hunt for a man who shares a striking resemblance to Travis Kelce.
In a Facebook post on June 24, the Salem police department wrote, “GUESS WHAT PAL, you may look like Travis Kelce, TE for the Kansas City Chiefs and, possibly his more well known claim to fame, current fiancé of Taylor Swift, but your good looks and cool sty (kids call it ‘sty’ I think.) can’t get you outta this one!"
The police department posted the photo of the man wearing a black bucket hat in a self-checkout line and then exiting the store. He is being accused of stealing a purse and then using the credit cards found in the purse to purchase items at Best Buy.
“Today we have a suspect that apparently doesn’t know he can’t take others things,” the post continued. “Purses. Money. Bucket hats. Ok, the bucket hat may be his. I’m just jealous. My friend ‘borrowed’ mine 9 years ago on a golf trip and I never saw it again. Unbelievable.”
Fans in the comment section enjoyed the police department's description of the alleged suspect.
"I’m am living for this new age of police reporting," one fan wrote in the comment section.
"Too, too funny. You made my day and I am on the lookout for this swiftie!" another fan reacted.
A fan even jokingly mentioned it could be Kelce ahead of his wedding to Swift, "You’re telling me this isn’t Travis Kelce making a run for it before the big day?"
Any information on the alleged suspect is urged to contact the Salem Police Department.
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift wedding
The actual Kelce has a few big plans ahead of him as new information seemingly associated with his upcoming nuptials to Swift has been revealed. On June 24, The New York Times reported that a permit was filed for the streets around Madison Square Garden to be closed from July 2 to midday July 4 for an event on July 3, according to several sources.
The other two clues were about hotel accommodations for several members of the Kansas City Chiefs who have booked hotel rooms around July 3 at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square. The third clue was made by a New York City official who said, "Madison Square Garden is planning to host the wedding festivities on July 3," the outlet reports.
For weeks, it's been rumored that the superstar couple would be saying "I do" at the iconic New York City venue. However, as we are about a week away from the alleged event at MSG, our questions will soon be answered.
