Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce inadvertently hit a spectator in the neck with a golf ball at a celebrity golf tournament this weekend.
The mishap occurred during a “boozy round” on Saturday as Kelce, accompanied by brother Jason, stepped up to the tee on the banks of Lake Tahoe in Nevada, according to the Daily Mail.
Luckily, the injured fan suffered no serious injuries and managed to find laughter despite the errant shot.
The fan reportedly received a photo and an autograph from Kelce afterward as a gesture.

This wasn’t Kelce’s first errant shot that hit a fan either.
At last year’s tournament, he hit a fan in the back of the head, but again, the fan appeared ultimately uninjured and Kelce responded with charm by offering a handshake and light-hearted apology.
Kelce, a nine-time Pro Bowler and three-time Super Bowl champion, has continued to embrace public life beyond football, already getting a head start on his second career off the field with the brothers’ “New Heights” podcast.
Kelce, for now, is still best known for his role with the Chiefs, where in 2024 he recorded 97 receptions, 823 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
It was productive despite what was widely considered a down year.
Heading into the 2025 season, the 34‑year‑old remains one of the league’s top tight ends and a key target for superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

The American Century Championship, held on Lake Tahoe’s storied Edgewood course, draws athletes from all sports.
This year, alongside Kelce, fellow celebrity competitors include Stephen Curry, Aaron Rodgers, Tony Romo, Jerry Rice, Ray Allen, Vince Carter and Albert Pujols.
