Travis Kelce and Prince William detail their meeting at Taylor Swift’s London concert in surprise sit-down

Travis and Jason Kelce still aren’t over their royal introduction to Prince William.

“That was honestly one of the coolest moments ever, was meeting you and the little ones that day,” Travis told the Prince of Wales on Friday’s episode of their “New Heights” podcast, which dropped the same day as Travis and Taylor Swift’s wedding.

The Kelce brothers famously met William, 44, and his kids Prince George, 12, and Princess Charlotte, 11, backstage at one of Swift’s Eras Tour shows in London in June 2024.

“Me and Jason joke about it all the time. We were so nervous to meet you guys and the royal family,” Travis, 36, said.

“And Jason has this running joke where he didn’t know what to do with his beer,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end added.

After William laughed, Jason, 38, clarified that the situation with his beer “wasn’t a joke.”

“You want to be respectful and know what the protocols are,” the retired NFL star explained, before noting the meeting “was awesome” and William was “fantastic.”

Jason also called Princess Charlotte “the highlight” of the interaction.

“I have four daughters, and she was great,” Jason said.

“Congratulations on four daughters. I don’t know how you did that,” William quipped.

Jason, who shares his children with wife Kylie Kelce, laughed and replied, “Definitely a difficult task. The hardest job.”

On a previous “New Heights” episode, Travis said William and his two eldest kids were “absolutely a delight to meet.”

“I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to bow to them, curtsy, just be an American idiot and shake their hands, like, ‘Sup, dude.’ We wanted to be polite,'” he explained.

Jason, 36, noted that since they weren’t an an “official royal event,” they didn’t bow.

William, George and Charlotte watched Swift perform from a box at Wembley Stadium in June 2024, on his birthday.

After the concert, the trio met the “Opalite” singer backstage, along with Travis, and took some photos.

Swift also shared the selfie and wrote alongside it, “Happy Bday M8. London shows are off to a splendid start.”

People recently reported that William and Kate Middleton won’t be at Swift and Travis’ wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York city on Friday.

William hinted he was hoping for an invite on the “Heart Breakfast” radio show in May.

“I’m hoping, and I’m sure there might be an invitation around, but we’ll see,” he said.
