Moments after signing a record-setting rookie contract for a non-quarterback, two-way Jacksonville Jaguars star Travis Hunter shared a reaction that is sure to get fans fired up for training camp.

"What's up Duval, it's your boy Travis Hunter,” he said in a video shared by the Jaguars’ social media team. “We're officially locked in. Just signed the contract, so let's get started."

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, Hunter's rookie-scale deal includes a whopping $30.57 million signing bonus, which will be paid entirely up front. That makes Hunter the first non-quarterback selected No. 2 overall or later to receive his full signing bonus check prior to playing a real NFL snap.

Typically, NFL teams will spread bonuses over multiple years to help manipulate the salary cap, but the Jaguars are fully in on a unique prospect they spent a ton of draft capital to move up and acquire back in April.

How all-in are the Jaguars on Hunter? They reportedly released two separate announcements on Hunter's contract signing on Sunday, one listing him as a wide receiver, and another listing him as a cornerback.

The hype around Hunter is certainly sky-high, and there will now be nothing holding the former Colorado star back during training camp, which will arrive in less than a month.

Shemar Stewart of the Cincinnati Bengals (pick No. 17 overall) and Jahdae Barron of the Denver Broncos (pick No. 20) are now the lone first-round selections from the 2025 draft class to remain unsigned.
