Travis and Jason Kelce have hilarious take on Aaron Donald rumors: ‘Starting a GoFundMe’

On Thursday, Dec. 3, Travis Kelce and the Chiefs will venture into SoFi Stadium to take on Matthew Stafford and the Rams star-studded roster.

But according to Kelce, he’s hoping there’s one less star on the field.

When speaking on his ‘New Heights’ podcast with his brother Jason, Travis gave his thoughts on the rumors surrounding the potential return of Aaron Donald.

“They can’t do that, right?” Travis asked, repeating it twice.

Jason, having played against Donald plenty of times in his career as the former center of the Eagles, was quick to chime in as well.

“That’d be cheating. Roger (Goodell) would have to step in,” Jason quipped. “If I was still playing O-line in the league, I would start a petition. No. This isn’t allowed. What are we doing here?”

Travis also stated that he had plan to prevent Donald from returning, although he admitted it’s not sure how well thought out it was.

“I’m starting a GoFundMe. This isn’t allowed,” Travis said with a laugh. “I don’t know what we’re raising money for, but we’re going to put a halt to this.”

For opposing offenses, the idea of pairing a three-time defensive player of the year in Donald and the reigning defensive player of the year in Myles Garrett is absolutely terrifying. The Rams stunningly traded for Garrett on Monday, sending prized youngster Jared Verse and three picks to the Browns in return.

While that concept is nerve-wracking enough for opposing quarterbacks, it gets even worse when you combine those two with the other players on the Rams defensive live: Kobie Turner, Poona Ford, Brandon Fiske and Byron Young.

“The rest of the D-line aren’t a bunch of slouches,” Kelce said. “They’ve got some (expletive) ball players.”

Time will tell what happens with Donald, but we know there’s at least one former Super Bowl winner who isn’t fond of playing agains the loaded Rams defense.
